About the FCPB

The FCPB was formed in 1981 with financial support from the McCreery family of Loveland, Colorado. Dedicated to public performance, the FCPB has appeared in a variety of locations and events, including the Fort Collins Lincoln Center and the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

The band has also achieved many competitive successes since its inception:
  • 2000, 2005, & 2006 Champion Band, Long's Peak Scottish/Irish Festival, Estes Park, Colorado
  • 2005, Attended North American Pipe Band Championships, Glengarry Highland Games, Maxville, Ontario
  • 2005, Attended Montreal Highland Games, Montreal, Quebec
  • 2006, Attended Pleasanton Highland Games, Pleasanton, California
  • 1991, 1996, 1997, and 1999 Grade IV Rocky Mountain Champions, Estes Park Long's Peak Scottish/Irish Festival

In addition to its regular performance and competition schedule, the FCPB also provides pipers for private events (see Booking the Band).
