About the FCPB
 |
The FCPB was formed in 1981 with financial support from the McCreery family of Loveland, Colorado. Dedicated to public performance, the FCPB has
appeared in a variety of locations and events, including the Fort Collins Lincoln Center and the
St. Patrick's Day Parade.
The band has also achieved many competitive successes since its inception:
- 2000, 2005, & 2006 Champion Band, Long's Peak Scottish/Irish Festival, Estes Park, Colorado
- 2005, Attended North American Pipe Band Championships, Glengarry Highland Games, Maxville, Ontario
- 2005, Attended Montreal Highland Games, Montreal, Quebec
- 2006, Attended Pleasanton Highland Games, Pleasanton, California
- 1991, 1996, 1997, and 1999 Grade IV Rocky Mountain Champions, Estes Park Long's Peak Scottish/Irish Festival
