Drumming Workshop

March 22-23, 2008

The first of our new series of drumming workshops took place on the weekend of March 22-23. Our guest instructor, Tom Foley, really seemed to enjoy working with our new drummers: Jeff, Nick & Dustin. The workshop was also attended by a couple drummers from other local bands and a few potential future drummers for the FCPB! After Saturday's session, many of the pipers joined in for a potluck dinner and to play for a bit.

Tom has agreed to visit us on a regular basis for weekend workshops, about every 6 weeks, and will help us in writing new snare, bass and tenor settings. We're very excited to have Tom's help in rebuilding our drum section!
