Drumming Workshop

July 19-20, 2008

The second of our new series of drumming workshops took place on the weekend of July 19-20. We were delighted that our guest instructor, Tom Foley, could return for this weekend to continue to work with our new drummers.

Saturday's session was followed by a full band BBQ in Loveland. We had a surprise visitor from a previous member of the band, Galen Priest. We also got to enjoy listening to our Pipe Major, Dennis Wilson, play for us for awhile. It was a delightful evening and a wonderful opportunity for us all to get to know each other a little better.

On Sunday, Tom attended our full band practice. He listened closely and provided us with valuable advice on how to improve. It was a very productive weekend for us indeed!
